The house is a modern interpretation of a traditional country cottage from a region of Podlasie. Due to a large area of the ground floor, the building was divided into two identical parts referring to the scale of the neighboring buildings. The first one contains a daily program: kitchen with pantry, dining room and living room as well as utilities, in second a night-time program was designed: bedrooms, bathrooms and dressing rooms. The entrance together with the hall are connected in vestibule. Outdoor color scheme was subordinated to the functional partition of the house and refers to traditional techniques of wood preservation: bleaching and oiling. Vertical formwork of facades was designed from boards regained after dismantling of wooden barns from the local area. In the bedroom part wooden surfaces were protected by oiling and the daily part of the elevation was painted white.
