The aim of the project was to adapt the historic building for the elementary school purpose. We aspired to achieve the new quality of the educational space corresponding to contemporary tendencies for creating friendly, open places full of light and hence supporting establishing positive relations between children and integration during shared fun and learning.

Removing the corridor with a poor lighting enabled the creation of shapely classes provided with the light from both sides and open space of rest- “corridors”. Individuality and artistic quality is expressed by the modern decoration of interiors being a part of dialogue between the old with the new- with the historical elevations of the building.
